Who wants my almost-complete VieuxMac archive?
Posted by: macgeek417 on 2009-08-17 02:06:20
I had no better use of my time/bandwidth, so I recompressed every file in my almost-complete VieuxMac Archive and uploaded it.

You can find the archive at:

http://macgeek417.uni.cc/ >> Downloads >> VieuxMac Archive

"wget -m" away!

This is my almost complete VieuxMac Archive. It contains every file but what is listed as missing below.

It also contains system 6.0.6 disk 1 from slomacuser, and when i find a 6.0.1 diskset and/or system 6.0.6 disk 2, i will include it as well

Here are the files I am missing. Please look through the list and see if you have any of the files mentioned here.

Applications

> Switcher

>> Switcher 4.4F

Fonts and Accesories

> Polices Bitmap A-I.image

> Polices Bitmap J-O.image

> Polices Bitmap P-R.image

> Polices Bitmap S-Z.image

The following weren't ever in the Vieuxmac archive, but i want them too!

System 6.0.1 Diskset

System 6.0.6 "System Additions"

Note: I already have a 6.0.1 bootdisk!

If you notice that a file from the VieuxMac Archive that is not listed above is missing, please email me at:

macgeek417@gmail.com

with subject "VieuxMac Archive"

Also, if have any of these please email them to me with subject:

"VieuxMac Archive: "

Thanks!

I'm looking for hypercard 2x and truebasic.

anyway, how do we upload files?

I don't have a upload thingy up, but I guess I could put one on there.

🙂

I'm uploading an upload script. There is no progress indicator, and there is an 8MB file size limit. You will find the uploader thingy by clicking "downloads"

It doesn't work yet, though.

The uploader thingy works now!

Help on what? If you mean the "It doesn't work yet" thing, it works now.

A progress bar would be nice though...

If the upload code is incomplete feel free to ask me.

(Also the buttons won't work on Firefox)

Posted by: macgeek417 on 2009-08-17 16:34:08
the buttons work fine on FF for me.

Oh, and you need to wait for the page to finish loading to click "downloads"

the upload code is complete, it is just extremely basic - the HTML and PHP code takes up less than 3k on the server.

A progress bar would make it a lot better

All that the webhost supports is PHP and SQL

Hey, 6.0.6 disk 1! I have the rest in the set readily accessible; I'll image them and upload them tonight!

(And for those who were asking, here you go! The complete set between the two of us!)

You have the 6.0.6 1.4MB disk 2? Do you have the 800k 6.0.6 disks?

Or are you refering to 6.0.1?
