I got given three Powerbook Duos today! On the downside, I tested the 2300 and the power adaptor popped and smoke came out..
The same happened with a different adaptor and a 280....
Any ideas?
I have a third adaptor and I don't want it to die... Do Duo Power supplies readily die?? My power supply at home is fine....

They usually dont. But they are at the age of bad caps so anything is possible
