question about my IIsi
Posted by: Christopher on 2009-08-11 07:22:00
I'm thinking of pulling it out of my closet and upgrade the OS a little. Trouble is, the only computer I have that has floppy is an eMachines T2080. But I figured I can image the OS files to it to make it bootable. Except, I don't know how to do that from Windows. Does anyone know of free or trial software that will allow me to do just this?

You can easily purchase an USB floppy drive (extremely cheap) and make the floppies on OS X to make it easier.

I could, but is it that much harder?

I use this to back up the OS disks on our digital pianos, which are not dos / windows formatted and it works fine for those

Sorry about that. :-x

On .img files, you can use the Floppy Image program here.
