SuperDrives! (the good kind)

The old kind, that is. :beige: Bought two of 'em on eBay the other day. Will come in handy - I don't have any spare auto-inject FDDs, only manual-inject.

You can never have to many working superdrives, they also seem harder to find.

I have a few spare auto inject and manual inject (at least I think I still have some autos). I like putting 2 drives in the large mac II's.

Those are auto-inject?

Yep, they most certainly are. Here is an article explaining the differences between auto-inject and manual-inject FDDs.

Oh, I know what they are. The reason I asked is because auto-injects don't seem terribly common these days.

They came today, now if only I had an old Mac here to put them in! 😛 (for those who aren't in the know, I'm living on campus at uni, all my computers apart from the MacBook and the Dell are several hundred kilometres south) I think one of the drives is actually an 800k drive, its a 661-0345 - I'm hoping it is, that way I can put it into my 128k and put the SuperDrive thats currently in it in another machine...having a SuperDrive-equipped 128k somehow feels wrong. 😛
