stylewriter Printer.... falling to pieces
Posted by: vassilizaitsev on 2009-07-23 10:26:35
I invited Faith no More round.......

Maybe not 😀

But my Stylewriter 1200 printer had been a faithfull workhorse for many years, until my second son was born (second son is now 14 months), and my second son manages to get everywhere and make a mess..... We found the TV remote control in the garden yesterday!

So.... as far as I was aware, no real damage to the printer had been done, and I left it to be quiet and un-noticed....

But today after months of it being left alone I decided to try printing with it. I sent the print job & it printed.... very slightly... very faintly.... had the ink cartridge run out perhaps? So I changed the pring cartridge..... that is to say I attempted to change the print cartridge... I opened the printer, and took the old cartridge out, then I went to put the new cartridge in, "Ping!", the little blue fiddle switch pinged out and.... by this point I had ink all over my hands & a baby wanting attention... and an older son who needed help with his homework.....

I decided to watch the Tour de France instead!

Go Wiggins! 🙂
