| Wiki not accepting zips? |

I wanted to update a file and get this error in Safari & Firefox:
"Files of the MIME type "application/zip" are not allowed to be uploaded."
I can upload Stuff-Its however. :-/

It's a setting in mediawiki, I had to configure mine at stenoweb.net/wiki/ specifically to allow PDF files for example.
TL could probably change the setting, what is it that necessitates uploading a zip file?

ZIPs are in the list of allowed extensions... so I'm not sure what the problem is really...

It seems that MediaWiki doesn't allow uploading of ZIP files due to security issues. Why specifically do you need to use ZIPs?

Why specifically do you need to use ZIPs? Probably in response to a comment I'd made about putting fonts in a more universal format. I, for one, use them on my non-Mac systems to make them feel homier.
