| AppleCD 300 issues |
Posted by: JRL on 2009-07-13 10:50:18 I have two AppleCD 300s which refuse to accept caddies. After taking a peek through the caddy door, it looks like the mechanism of one of them is clamped down (like it was reading). The other one was working fine connected to my Macintosh LC but suddenly spat the caddy out and won't accept a caddy now.
Suggestions? I've already tried the paperclip trick.

Posted by: JRL on 2009-07-16 11:34:22 Alright, I finally was able to take the lid off one of the AppleCD 300s, but I have to disassemble the actual CD unit now. Would anybody be able to guide me through it? Thanks!

How is the software working for you, BTW?
