| Quadra 700 hard drive caddy usable in a Macintosh IIcx? |
Posted by: JRL on 2009-06-30 15:20:08 Could a Quadra 700 hard disk caddy be used in a Macintosh IIcx? I have my eyes set on a Macintosh IIcx on eBay which is missing the hard drive and the caddy, and I have a Quadra 700 hard disk caddy from a box of parts acquired from a fellow 68kmla member.
Since the Quadra 700 and the IIcx are the same case, I'm pretty sure it should work, but just making sure.

I have one of each of those Macs, and can verify that they use a common (with minor variations) cradle. I don't know any of the other potential users of that particular cradle, but it is not impossible that there are some.
