Looking for a good ADB Utility
Posted by: equant on 2009-06-27 10:46:03
Can anyone recommend a good utility for monitoring the ADB port? Something that can show what's connected, device handlers used, or addresses, etc.

Thanks.

Check Apple's Developer FTP site. There's a few in there, IIRC. Also, check Info-Mac.

Look for a program called ADB Probe. It is like SCSI probe, except for that it is for ADB, of course.

Info-mac didn't have anything, and I didn't find anything on apple's developer site, but I was able to locate adb probe. Thanks for the assist.

Here's the ADB stuff on Apple: ftp://ftp.apple.com/developer/Tool_Chest/Devices_-_Hardware/Apple_Desktop_Bus/

Ah wow. I missed "ftp" and was searching through Apple's legacy docs and downloads on their website, sorry about that. Thanks for your willingness to lead a moron to water 😉 Looks like some very good tools. Exactly what I was after I think.
