Duo Keyboard issues
Posted by: System7 on 2009-06-22 09:44:43
Well, my Duo 280c is not being nice with me today. Its keyboard types junk at random, and for example, if I type e, it will do ea.

Any solutions to this annoying problem? I know the keyboards on these are bads, but they cant be THAT bad.

do you have a language pack installed, and do you see a flag up by the clock in the menu bar? Bet anything the software is acting up

Have you tried reseating the keyboard connecting cable?

beachycove's idea is worth a look. I have had similar problems with my Duo 280. It's on my to-do list. 😛

I tried that-the problem persists.

I experienced dual strikes like that ("ae") on one of my worst Duo keyboards. They really can get that bad. Sounds like time to clean, repair or replace the keyboard to me.
