I don't post about everything I get but this find was kind of cool for me.
As some of you know I collect boxed mac software, mostly from the 68k era and I like the math/scientific/cad stuff which is VERY hard to find. On friday I hit the local thrift to see if they had anything cool computer related and stumbled on a box in their junk software area (you know the one they stack 3rd rate stuff like no name anti virus software and banner making software). The box was for DesignCAD for 68k mac and looked complete, but didnt have a price (usually the stuff is only a few dollars anyway). I took it to the register and hoped it wouldn't take long for them to work out a price, lady opened it up and seen the manual and said it would be the softwcover book price $.25 and ended up being $.27 with tax. So not only did I get a rare CAD program for a 68K mac (I own Ashlar Vellum also) but if the the importer works correctly I can now open up my old drawings from the DOS version I used for years at a company I worked at.
