| HyperCard Speed Issues on a 300MHz G3 |
Posted by: Scott Baret on 2009-05-17 11:32:40 I am running HyperCard on my iBook G3 and am having a bit of a problem with speed. It is running a speed-sensitive stack too quickly, rendering it nearly inoperable. Is there any way to adjust the program or stack to make it run slower or am I better off moving it to an older Mac?

Posted by: Scott Baret on 2009-05-18 17:08:59 Yes. I'm running OS 9.1 and it's running "as-is" (that is, not as Classic Mode in OS X; I don't have OS X installed on this iBook). I've got 192MB RAM and am not using virtual memory.

If so, i think you'd be better off trying the stack on System 7.
did you get my PM, BTW? 🙂
