Now i know that we have seen many examples through the years of ppl getting various flavors of os x to run on some really early macs.

but what interests me is has anyone done the reverse of this?

yon google ball is quite silent about this. does anyone know of an example?

I wouldn't think it can be done....after all, in the early days of the PCI Power Macs they had to bring out a special version of System 7.5 (7.5.2) to support these machines.

Well, my guess is you'd need some kind of "System Enabler" in order for the older System software to know how to handle newer hardware. And good luck finding someone to write such a thing! 😎
