| A/UX 3.0, Oracle for A/UX, System 7 beta & Master for DL |
Posted by: diaz on 2009-05-11 11:20:31 I've got A/UX 3.0, Oracle Server for A/UX, System 7 Golden Master release and System 7 beta for download. I sold them and want to share them before they sit on a shelf forever. I am hosting these on my own machine and broadband connection, so please don't pig out on them. Don't DL them unless you plan to use them or to share them. I will keep them online for about a week, in order to seed them, so to speak. I hope that someone will DL them and put them on their hotline server for more permanent archival. I will also include the original scans from the jewel case inserts and the disks from everything. I have zip filed everything for faster DL speeds. The disk images are available in two formats, bin/cue and ISO. DL whichever you think is better for you.

Posted by: billynomates on 2009-05-13 00:55:12 😎 Thanks very much for these - was watching the oracle cd on ebay, and I was disappointed when it went.
So, I'm now about to get an RDBMS on an A/UX SE/30. Imagine the time this is gonna take to get running 😉
Cheers again - I'll definitely use it!

Posted by: diaz on 2009-05-20 21:52:44 Last chance on this. Going to pull my server offline in the morning. DL as much as you want or can overnight.

Posted by: Anonymous Freak on 2009-05-21 22:12:11 Dammit, I was a day too late!!!
Someone should seed this as a torrent. If they do, I'll set it up on my 'permanent seed' list.

Posted by: joshc on 2009-05-22 10:20:24 I am interested in downloading these, for archival purposes. Is anyone willing to seed them or put them on a FTP server?
|
Posted by: leosadvs on 2009-05-22 17:35:35 i have downloaded the files, but only the iso files, if anyone is interested send me an PM and i send you the link to my server. ;D

Posted by: billynomates on 2009-05-28 04:46:36 Happy to provide the iso image to anyone that can provide an FTP server to copy it to...
Also, don't mind answering any questions about the install / database create / etc... Not sure that this is the correct thread to do it in though?

Posted by: glf on 2009-11-19 07:23:29 Does anyone still have these? I have 2 WGS95's with actual A/UX media, and would love to get Oracle for them. I'm more than willing to set up a FTP for this type of thing, if someone wants to up them.

Posted by: cheesestraws on 2025-06-23 16:12:19 Yes, @MrFahrenheit has done a great job in tracking down and making the A/UX stuff available. Pretty sure the System 7 stuff is also available on the Garden. |
Posted by: MrFahrenheit on 2025-06-24 07:31:03 The System 7.0 Golden Master CD can be found here:

Posted by: Shinobi Kenobi on 2025-06-25 12:37:05 @MrFahrenheit Awesome, thank you. I wasn't sure how numerous the warez were on that old site. I frequent the Garden often, but I wasn't sure what all was on it. Like almost everything that is lost to time, I was imagining countless untold treasures of warez beyond what the OP mentioned 🤣 |
Posted by: chelseayr on 2025-06-25 18:08:04 @Shinobi Kenobi its a bit alike to "dust this and find something, continue dusting only to find something again, and continue ad nausea!" with the garden itself if you ask me tbh 🙂
(and hey don't try look for it in 1985, I think it was too early for that heh) |
Posted by: Shinobi Kenobi on 2025-06-26 01:06:52 @chelseayr Oh sorry, I meant I wasn't sure what was on the site in the first message. I download lots of stuff from the Garden 🙂 I realize now what I said was ambiguous lol. |
Posted by: chelseayr on 2025-06-26 02:46:35 no problem doc, enjoy |
