| Sheepshaver Fullscreen 1680x1050 lines |
Posted by: macintoshme on 2009-04-25 16:03:19 Has anyone gotten Sheepshaver to go into 1680x1050 on their Intel Mac? I put it in the gui settings, and boot up into OS 9, but I get a bunch of purple and cyan lines throughout my gfx. I would love to be able to pretend that I have an actual os 9 machine hooked up to my monitor with the advantage of being able to use wide screen. I just don't have the space for a classic machine anymore. 🙁

Huh? They work just fine for me... Sure, they work often just fine… but they're nonetheless buggy/unfinished pieces of software! 😎
@macintoshme: No. I tried several times, without any luck. Basically, I have never ever been able to run Basilisk II/SheepShaver in full screen on any resolution.

Maybe sheepshaver itself can't manage high resolutions...

Posted by: macintoshme on 2009-04-27 14:55:05 I can get up to 1280x1024. That works fine, but looks weird on my screen, since it is stretched out. No other widescreen resolutions show up in the resolution list. Does os 9 support widescreen?

Posted by: joshc on 2009-04-27 15:01:30 It's nothing to do with OS 9. OS 9 supports widescreen resolutions, much larger than 1680x1050 too.
