LaserWriter Pro 500-sheet feeder

Do these exist? There is one drawing of one that comes up with a Google image search. No actual photograph. I've never seen a big tall LaserWriter Pro.

I recall having seen one come up on eBay a few years ago. I briefly pondered buying it for my LWP630, but the shipping made it expensive, and the printer as it is really has enough paper capacity for my needs. I also seem to recall reading at the time that OSX has problems printing to the LWP630 with the 500-sheet feeder installed, but as that is a fairly distant recollection, take it with a grain of salt. As my wife would happily tell you, I am often wrong.

i have one on my 630. I load legal in it, and letter size in the regular tray.

You can switch between them from the print command. It prints fine under Tiger.

That's cool that you can load legal paper into it; I always have to use the multi-purpose tray for that.

Are they really rare or something? How come I can't even find a single picture of one with Google? I agree that the main tray has a large capacity; maybe not many people bought them because of this?

Its the same one that is used on an HP4. All you have to do is set the printer on top of it and it is connected.
