Mac Plus and some other goodies
Posted by: stevep on 2009-03-27 12:24:09
I got a Mac Plus from a Kijiji ad today. $50 with it's keyboard and mouse, and it came with a Kensington System saver and Lacie external HD. Along with it I was given another box of odd bits which included an Iomega SCSI Zip drive and 2 Asante Friendly Net units. Also a couple of those switchable adapters to use a PC monitor on a Mac.

After getting this Plus set up to check it out, I found it has a Brainstorm Accelerator in it - nice bonus 😎

At a thrift store I found 2 game paddles for a Commodore Vic 20 still in their original box 🙂

A good day all in all!

Nice snags stevep!

Could you post a couple of photos of the Brainstorm accelerator? I'm curious to see what it looks like.

Cheers

I might be wrong, but I think there's one of these Brainstorm accel's on eBay right now in the Vintage Apple section. It's listed as a Plus accelerator and has the same oblique-angled memory chips.
