| A/UX Web Servers? |
Posted by: Mike Richardson on 2009-02-19 02:39:02 Any A/UX Web Servers out there? Can you even get Apache going?
I might consider setting one up and letting it loose on my home DSL connection. I have a Q950 decked out with 128 MB RAM.

Posted by: ChristTrekker on 2009-02-19 07:09:51 AFAIK, www.wiskit.com and www.se30.it are the only public A/UX web servers. If you choose to make your own server publicly accessible, make sure you take all the security precautions mentioned in the FAQ.
There is a binary of Apache 1.3.34 available, along with (IIRC) instructions on compiling it yourself if you should want to. I keep thinking that someday I'll get around to trying to build Apache 2, but don't hold your breath.

All this talk of Apache, has anyone tried to compile Lighttpd to A/UX? If I ever get my A/UX box running again, I intend to try building lots and lots of software. Why? Just for giggles. 🙂
