Bone Stock Powerbook 1400cs

Got this out of a trade, Optiplex 380 for this. My first laptop was a Powerbook 1400cs/133 back in 2007 or so, I'd gotten it for $25 at a thrift store.

Anyways, this here seems to be a bone stock 117 MHz model. Has the factory processor, 16 megs ram, 750 meg hard drive. Has the floppy drive only (no Zip or CD) and the top cover is just a plastic piece rather than clear-with-art one.

Next step is to find a cord for it, I haven't any that'll work with it and I didn't get one.

A nice find and at the right price too!

I believe if you can find the 1400/133 CPU you can swap it.

You can also put in a CF/SSD into it to speed things up. See: https://68kmla.org/forums/index.php?/topic/23406-booting-from-a-compact-flash-drive/

Nice catch indeed!  I swapped a 1400/133 CPU into my 1400/117 a while back - Definitely gives it a bit more "get-up-and-go."
