I acquired it but it does not seem to be recognized in my 512k or plus or SE machines. I have cleaned the disk drives so I know they can read other 400k and 800k disks ok.
I have several questions, want were the contents of the original macpaint disk, the one that had a red and white label? Also the disk is dated 1984, what version of macpaint would it have had? What version of the system was on the disk?
I am trying to recreate the disk now because I doubt it can be salvaged, I am unable to locate system 1.0 (aka .97) or the original macpaint. (I have version 1.3 of macpaint on my other SE machine which is dated 1983)
Thank you for any help in getting to a solution,
Peter :beige:

| Posted by: drbalint on 2009-02-01 22:13:38 Excellent I have been to this site but did not realize they had all the part numbers listed. My disk is a 690-5011-C, which according to the site was made for the 512k. The disk should contain macpaint 1.4 and system 1.1g. Which is good I have that software on a macterminal disk.
Thank you
