Just got home with a nice conquest:
Mac 128K complete with keyboard, mouse, external FD, original disks and manuals. Working well.
Imagewriter. Not yet tested.
Boxed MacDraw
Lots of 3.5" disks
Apple publication "Of the 260 million people in North America, only a fraction can use a computer". Has the hand on the front lifting the Mac from it's carry bag.
Apple ad "magazine" for the 128K from Feb 1985. This was a Canadian distribution.
Old newspaper ad featuring the 128K, Imagewriter and external FD for CDN$4495.00 and a photocopy of a Consumer Reports writeup on the Mac from Jan 1985.
It's been a good week 🙂

How much did you pay? CDN $250.00 which sounds outrageous but I think considering the condition and all that came with it, it's a bargain compared to eBay 🙂 It is my best 128K.
And it was a fluke find too. I had replied to a freecycle ad for another newer Mac but lost on the name draw, and he emailed me asking if I had any interest in a 128K that had been in his garage for 10 years. It belonged to his son who (unfortunately) knew their value as collector items.
