1400c/166
Free 9600/300 (500+ MB of Ram, but forgot the #)
Free ATI Rage 128 PCI, Geforce4 AGP Card, Random SCSI PCI Card
Techtool Pro 4 ($10!)
Free WGS 8150 (it's just sitting there...)
Free ANS 700/132 (needs a new power supply)
w00t!
While I paid a pretty penny for the 2400c, I am amazed by it's compactness, and for the price, it's actually working, I love it and it could be my new daily legacy system. Just need to figure out how to get a CD drive on there.
The 1400c/166 is in a little bit of bad shape...the keyboard came unattached but there seems to be an interesting port in the rear "add on" portion of the 1400...I can't describe it well but it looks like it could be a monitor port but I could be off. I don't know anything about 1400c expansion cards...
Overall, great haul!
| Posted by: LCGuy on 2009-01-20 22:49:34 Got a pic of the expansion port on the 1400? It sounds like it could be an external video card...you'll need a PowerBook external video adaptor to plug an external monitor into it...I've got one of those cards on my 1400, despite the fact that it only does 8 bit video at 640x480 or 800x600, or 4 bit video at 1024x768, its quite neat. 🙂

Look over there!
/runs off with 2400c.
Nice score. 🙂
| Posted by: Redjack on 2009-01-21 07:38:18 2400c is by far my most favorite...I actually like it better than my PB G4 12". I like the PBG4 but the brushed aluminum just irritates me when it overheats.
Now, onto 2400c accessories...
| Posted by: MacMan on 2009-01-21 10:26:21 As far as I know the only cards made for the 1400's expansion slot were ethernet and video-out. If it is not an RJ45 ethernet port then it is almost certainly a PowerBook video port (you need an adaptor to connect it to an older Mac display or VGA monitor).
