Looking for Mailtron POP gateway
Posted by: Quadrattic on 2009-01-15 09:48:16 I'm trying to set an old Quadra up as a local mailserver, sucking all the mail from one POP address at my ISP. This is the sort of thing that "fetchmail" can be used for under UNIX or OS X, but I'm looking for a 68k program to do this. There used to be a freely available program called "Mailtron", but this was hosted on AOL's member homepages so it's now been scrubbed and the many links to it still out there are dead. After searching the Internet, the Wayback Machine, and Hotline trackers I can only find the PPC version. Can anyone point me to a 68k copy (the last version was 2.3, apparently) or a program with a similar function? Thanks for any leads.
