Video card, truck

My older brother gave me a GeForce 6200 AGP video card. It's in my PC for now but would not mind trying it out in my G4.

Also I was given the use of my brother-in-law's pickup truck. He doesn't use it and gets it out of his yard. I get a vehicle to drive that isn't completely falling apart as my Corsica is doing right now.

After driving cars for 19 years, driving a truck has been a unique experience. It's like driving a box on wheels. 🙂

Because it IS a box on wheels. Most cars are basically just that, trucks and older SUV's resemble it more.

Sweet deal!

Trucks are just bigger boxes, taller boxes, with bigger wheels and more power. Cool.

Almost forgot - my brother-in-law also gave me a 512MB DDR266 DIMM and a retractable USB cable.

I was trying to help him set up his wireless router but he is missing the power supply.

As far as the truck being a box on wheels, I meant with the wheels being attached directly to the box with no shocks. I swear I felt every bump and seam I drive over on the way back home. [😛] ]'>

Skip over the holes.... It's a truck, not a Lincoln!

It's not a Corsica either! 🙂

The truck is definitely a vehicle it would be hard to speed faster than expected or to fall asleep in.....

Trucks? Hard to speed in? My brother buried the needle on his Bronco. It maxes at 85mph.

I'm sure you could if you really wanted to. What I was referring to is something I encounter with newer cars. Driving around you look down at the spedometer and you are going 20+ mph faster than expected. The car appears to be moving slower than it actually is.

The truck makes you quite aware of how fast you are going. [😀] ]'>

Mini vans no matter what speed make you feel slow.

Not really, I used to drive a minivan and lets just say I've gotten to speeds that if I was caught it wouldn't be "license and registration please", it would be "Get the **** on the ground", and it felt like I was going the speed I was going
