Just another one of those curiosity threads, but who has actually managed to use all the ports on their 'Book? I just managed it a little earlier, and things got a little scrambled-looking 😛

They are:
Power - All charged!
Unused Modem (only ever use it if a hurricane knocks everything out and the phone line is our only internet).
Ethernet - Hooked up to my G4 for some fast file transfers.
FireWire - Hooked up to a 1TB external drive and letting Time Machine do its thing.
USB#1 - Charging iPhone.
USB#2 - Powering awesome little cooling stand that the PowerBook is on.
MiniDVI - Hooked up to my 1440x900 external display for some big-screen fun.
Audio in - Coming in from a friend's iPod and recording away.
Audio out - Going out to my headphones to make sure it got a good recording.
So how 'bout y'all? Do you ever come close to using all the portage your 'Book offers?

I had all the ports of my PowerBook 150 (SCSI Ethernet, Localtalk to PB 180 and Power).
I also had all the ports on my Acer Aspire One filled (Power, VGA, Ethernet, USB DVD-ROM, iPod Nano 1G, Wireless Mouse, Earbuds and a Mic.

I've had all the ports on my MacBook bar the line in use once a few months back:
Power: Duh!
Ethernet: Crossover cable to a customer's laptop, with the MacBook acting as a bridge to my AirPort Express, which is a bridge to my ethernet network 😛
Mini-DVI: 15" SVGA CRT
FireWire: Recharging iPod
USB 1: Mouse
USB 2: USB drive
Line In: Never used it
Line Out: Earbuds
Also done pretty much the same thing with my PB1400 a few times:
Power: Duh!
Line in: Line in plug for AppleVision 1710AV
Line out: Line out plug for AppleVision 1710AV
Video: AppleVision 1710AV
SCSI: External CD-R burner
ADB: AppleVision 1710AV, AppleDesign Keyboard, ADB Mouse II
Serial: LocalTalk networkage

Apart from the modem port and the Audio In port, usually my PowerBook G4 has all the ports in use.
Ethernet is connected to a 5-port switch which is the core of the wired portion of my home network.
FireWire is connected to an external disk (to which the iSight is connected in turn).
USB #1 is connected to another external disk (it has a partition for Time Machine and a partition for the iTunes Library).
USB #2 is either used for iPhone / iPod connection, or to connect another external disk I use as a media centre.
Mini-DVI is connected to an external non-Apple 20-inch LCD monitor via a Mini DVI-to-VGA adapter.
Audio Out is connected either to my external speakers (the beautiful Apple Design Speakers) or to my headphones.
Now, for the 'invisible' ports:
AirPort is connected to my wireless home network and Bluetooth is used with the Apple Wireless Keyboard, Mighty Mouse, cellphones, Newton, etc.
Having all the ports occupied probably saved my PowerBook once when I spilled some orange juice nearby.

I do it on my iMac all the time.
Power: i would hope so
Mini-DVI: connected to 18"CRT
Ethernet: wired to PowerMac G4 for uber fast transfers
Firewire 800: don't have anything to use it yet...
Firewire 400: wired to PowerBook G3 to grab some files
USB port 1: keyboard because it needs the power for the ports
USB port 2: 4-port usb hub
USB port 3: iPod
Sound in: refuse to use this because it generates so much noise
Sound out: wired with a headphone splitter that splits the signals to my Pioneer stereo and a set of computer speakers by my bed.
