After dark serial # (not as dodgy as it sounds)
Posted by: elbaroni on 2009-01-03 01:29:06
Hi all - I just got a copy of After Dark 1 which I bought off ebay, but unfortunately the registration card which should have the serial number on it isn't in the box. Does anyone have one?

This is why I own a copy of SerialSeeker.

I think that's a serial for After Dark X version 1 - my first bet was serialseeker as well. In any case, it doesn't work, unfortunately. Thanks anyway though, heavymetal4god.

I looked into some old archives, the earliest serial database I found is from September 1995. Unfortunately the serial numbers listed there are for After Dark ver. 3.0.

Here they are anyway, you might give them a try:

ADM-00670-6681

ADM-21289-8489

ADM-30306-9708

ADM-75689-8965

ADM-90213-6771

ADM-90213-6772

Cheers,

Rick

are you sure it wants serial? I have original AD v2.0 and you just copy the Control Panel with After Dark Files on HD and when you restart the computer you personalize it with your name and organization, no serials ...

I was surprised too, but it definitely wants a serial number. It rejected everything I put in there.

I can always try manually expanding the .sits from the install disk - see if that works.

This method has always worked for me as well.
