I was just wondering if anyone here who doesn't own any 68k macs uses emulators.
I have been using 68k emulators such as BasiliskII on Windows since several years ago. Since then I have owned one 68k mac but I no longer own it and use a PPC system for most of my Mac stuff, but I do still get BasiliskII out on the PC to play with sometimes. Sometimes it seems quite a bit faster than my PPC PowerBook.

I do own quite a lot of 68k Macs, but I certainly do use emulators! Basilisk II, Mini vMac or SheepShaver depending of the task are much faster to launch on my MacBook Pro than getting out an old friend, plug it in and start it up just to check something or try a soft.

I have a few 68K Macs, but I still tinker around with 68K emulators. Just recently, I decided to give Mini vMac a try and I fell in love with it. Took a bit to get used to, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't played with Basilisk II in a while, but I have it to thank for taking me to Mini vMac.
I haven't tried SheepShaver yet, but that one is in the plans. 🙂
You might also want to try out some Apple II emulators, as well as possibly some Amiga, Commodore, Atari, etc. emulators.

Have tried Basilisk II which works fine. Must admit not tried SheepShaver.

Tried SheepShaver, too buggy when I was using it with OS 9. The JIT version of Basilisk II can freeze/crash sometimes, too. Mini vMac is solid though - works great.
