Got this off craigslist for $450, it has a 20 inch screen, two 120GB hard drives, 2GB RAM, one of those multi card readers, an HD-DVD drive, s-video in, 1.3 megapixel webcam, geforce 7600, and a 2.16ghz Core Duo. It's so giant, I've never seen a bigger laptop. 🙂

Are you using that as a desktop replacement? Because I think I'd find it quite difficult using a 20" screen on my lap.

20" screen in a laptop would be awesome!

Yep, I've got a 12 inch iBook to take with me.

Jeebus, a 20" lappy... I suppose some people find a vaguely-portable desktop rather handy. More power to ya if you do.

/me looks at EeePC 1000 in front of him.

Christ, man, does that thing leave indentations in your lap? Or burn marks?

Also, bwahaha, my Eee has the same amount of RAM.

Nope, runs pretty cool.

And yes, but I can play games 😛

A lady I know at uni has one of those HP Pavillion HDX thingies. Its a 20" "laptop", apparently. It reminds me of a cross between a current model iMac and an original Compaq Transportable. Hardly "portable" or "convenient" I set my MacBook up next to it once...looks sooo tiny, haha.
