Anyone has System .85 w/ Mac 128k ROM?
Posted by: RaidenII on 2008-11-24 05:50:19
I have a image of .85 but seems that could not run w/ my MacPlus ROM while .97 and 1.1 both run perfectly on Mini vMac.

Could anyone upload a Mac 128k ROM (64k I guess) and the Guided Tour image?

Thanks,

Raiden

---I got the ROM file now. The only thing needed is the guided tour.

128K ROMs aren't too hard to find. What's more difficult, is getting mini vMac to use it. Often it will give an error saying the ROM file is too short.

My webpage (see my profile) has a link to a hacked 0.85 that runs as a standalone system - that is without the Guided Tour and Training menu etc.

Works in miniVmac and on a real 128K mac - and I have pictures to prove it! 🙂

I sadly can't find the link you speak of. 🙁

And I must also say that you have a VERY nice collection there. Question - what's the weird, uncovered board you have on top of the really old to the right of the tiny CRT? A homemade mac? [😀] ]'>

Actual page is here:

From the main page, you follow the link from here:

And the single board on top of the Apple II is my Replica 1 - an Apple 1 clone. See this page for more info:
