bittorrent client for OS 9?
Posted by: Phreakinus on 2008-11-13 14:42:35
My friend is getting pissed off with his "useless" clamshell with OS 9, he can't find a bittorrent client for it.

he wishes it had windows 95 so it could download torrents

As far as I know, none exist. You could always run win95 in VPC, though.

9 was dead before torrents took off.

If you can get Java in the browser you can always use bitlet: http://www.bitlet.org/

Good luck getting a Java implementation new enough to support that.

Hows about Limewire?

Assuming it had torrent support at that time...

It only did Gnutella back then.

Any python environments for classic Mac OS? You could run the basic command line scripts if so.
