An Odd Quadra 800 in IIvx Case

Well its a Q800 in a IIvx Case..............dont know what else to say really.

Has 52mb RAM, and A/UX on the HD.

The A/UX is bone stock. Version 3. Also, even with UNIX, old macs besides the IIfx lag on formatting floppies 😛

No DMA. Floppy interface heavily software dependent.

Q900 and 950 also don't lag. It has nothing to do with the CPU, its because the floppy drive is run off the IOPs.

I had a IIVX too but was dissapointed of the crippled mainboard.

.Installed Debian linux 3.0? in text mode.I saw a Q800 in a Q700 case that looked nice, too at applefritter.
