What just happened

Can someone shed some light on this?

About 5 minutes ago(from the time this thread is posted) I got the error/sad mac. What happened?

The forum went down. Forums do that. It's typically not required to post every time it happens 😉

No idea, perhaps if you gave us some clues we could help.

Which error code was it, and which page were you trying to view?

Everything seems fine now, so I guess it was just a temporary glitch...

Edit: Just checked the server error log, and there's nothing recorded for your IP at the time you specified...

You never said what "it" was.

HTTP 500 errors are server related, so I guess it was just a temporary glitch with the server. I wouldn't worry about it, but please do report any further occurrences to me either here or via PM/e-mail.

Cheers [😱)] ]'>

So if in a major city, the power went out for an hour, you think no one should be told? Oh, why the heck should we tell our subscribers why the power was out? Why bother let them know anything?

Major city power failure > Hiccup on a small internet message board.

Go outside. Breathe fresh air. Get a life. It helps. :beige:

Yes, we should all be PM'd when the board goes down, and PM'd when it comes back up again.

Next, how do receive our PMs while the board is down?

"No need to post every time the forum goes down". In case you haven't noticed, the problem was reported and ~tl checked into the issue because of the fact it was reported.

At the most i'd have suggested this go in the 68kMLA Bug Tracker thread, otherwise this thread is fine.
