It was in very good shape and hadn't been used in years. She thought it was broken as it gave an error that amounted to a dead CMOS battery and she hadn't dared to hit the ESC key to continue.
It's a 486SX-25 with 8mb RAM and a 129MB HD Hard Disk, with both a 3.5" and a 5.25" floppy drive. Also came with the original 13" monitor which is a bit dim, a 14.4k (I think) modem and a card with dual 15 pin jacks that I take for gameports.
I reloaded the system after reformat (at my neighbor's behest) with the included recovery software on 3.5's. This included an older version of MS Works, DOS v.5 and Windows 3.10. She also gave me a bunch of software on 5.25 disks that included the original DOS version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Duke Nukem, and Afterdark.
