Claris 2.0
Posted by: skeletor on 2008-09-27 00:07:44
Just came across a sealed box of claris works 2.1

for both 68k macs, and early power pc..

Myself, always like claris..up to 4.0

better than MS word....but Word 5.1, was pretty darn good, despite being from microScum...oops, soft...

also, found a global village modem, still in it's box..

Teleport internet edition...33.6 fax-slash-modem...

with netscape navigator....

sheeesh, remember when Netscape ruled the roost ? before IE

came on the scene....

haven't decide what to do with these two new finds...

ClarisWorks is usually an easy find on eBay or at one of the vintage software shops (such as B&R Computer or Herb's).

There's a really nice shrinkwrapped ClarisWorks, I believe it's version 1.0, on eBay right now...TetrisMaster512, go for it!!!

I was actually just joking.

I already have both Word 5.1a and MS Works 3 for my classic Macs. I also have AppleWorks 6 on my iMac install CD.
