Looking for HTMLRendering Lib. I need it for VPC 6.0 *solved
Posted by: coius on 2008-09-05 03:08:17
Virtual PC 6.0 is complaining about not having HTMLRendering Lib and I can't get my OS 9.2.2 CD to install it. I don't know WHY it needs it, I just know I don't know where to get it. So if anyone on the board has it (or can get it), please stuffit up and send it to pledoux@gmail.com

I only need to extension 🙂

yeah, but it doesn't have the DOWNLOAD. It's just got documents pertaining to it. I need the actual plugin

coius, the way your message is written it sounds like you believe your 9.2.2. installer disc *has* the file, but that you just can't get the installer to install it.

If that's true, then what about Apple's free TomeViewer app? It can probably be found easily via Google or MacUpdate. I don't remember if 9.2.2 uses the older type of tome files, but if it does then TomeViewer would allow you to peek inside the installation tomes and extract the file you need.

Actually, I got a hold of a copy of the PowerMac G4 AGP OS 9.2.1 Install disc and installed with that. I have a friend with a Gigabit Ethernet that has the install disc that will work. Anyways, Virtual PC is happily chugging along 🙂

Thanks anyways. So problem solved
