| Rough value of a Powermac G4 350 Sawtooth? |
Posted by: Torbar on 2008-08-21 10:36:32 Is 25 bucks for a 350/10gb/DVD reader/ZIP/64mb ram graphite a good deal?
I have plenty of ram to upgrade it with, along with a HD.

$25 seems great if its local, to me anyway.

Posted by: John8520 on 2008-08-21 14:26:10 a 350 would be a Yikes! I think the lowest Sawtooth was a 400. Still a pretty good deal, they can be reliable machines, and great for OS9.

Posted by: coius on 2008-08-27 22:58:44 unlike the 400Mhz Sawtooths, G4 350MHz G4's have no hope of using Dual processors as they were pre-Rev 7 boards (Uni-north 3 instead of Uni-north Rev 7). you need Uni-North 7 in order to drop a dually in it.
I got my Sawtooth 400Mhz from Dan, and quickly dropped a dual 450Mhz G4 module in it and it's now running with that. With help from another forum member, I will be upgrading from 512MB RAM to 768MB 🙂
I just loaded Leopard on it too. it's VERY snappy
