"Guidelines for Using the Apple Logo"

I just found a really cool booklet (even cooler to me as I'm a graphic design major) in great condition entitled

"Guidelines for Using the Apple Logo, Signatures, and Corporate Typeface"

It's exactly what it says - design guidelines for the apple trademarks.

It starts with a cool history of the company and every logo revision (up until this book was printed, which was 1995).

It even includes "camera ready" artwork of the apple logos and marks, and official color swatches for the 6 color logo.

Hidden inside the book (I don't think they came with it, but were thrown in later) were several 6-color logo stickers, including one with the old typeface from the late 70s/early 80s!

Also included is a picture of me using a Mac II when I was somewhere between 2 and 4 years old. 😛

I think thats pretty friggin' sweet.

Any chance of scans? Would be interesting to see...

I dunno about scans - I don't have a scanner on me. I could take some pictures though.

I scan at one of my department's labs when I need to.

Was just kidding btw

Probably you couldn't buy a scanner for a reasonable price that could do what they do.

Right I know, was just clearing my name as there are some people who would seriously lose respect if I didn't have a scanner, if you can believe it...
