I was looking though one guys tent, and saw an old bright yellow civil defense Geiger counter. Unfortunately someone one playing with it earlier in the day had broke a latch off the case and he did not want to sell it without reattaching it. I don't assume it was operational at all, but still 🙁
Casually looking below the table I saw the back of a LC series machine, with a card sticking out the back and assuming it had to have been a IIe card, I picked it up and asked how much, and he said $1, so I bought it. No Y cable for the IIe card, but I'll either make one, or more likely, buy one. I do have to make a IIe startup disk too...
The LC itself was bare bones; 4MB RAM and 40MB HD. Was used previously for troubled kids at a youth center to pound out there feelings according to the file-strewn desktop.
Other less mac related finds.
-Craig tape reel to reel tape recorder, in box. I forget the model number off the top of my head. $5
-Heathkit HM-10A tunnel dipper, no idea what exactly is does, looks cool, has switches and dials. $.50
-JC Penney AM/FM clock radio circa 1960. Actually wakes me up. $1.

| Posted by: Patrickool93 on 2008-08-11 21:07:40 Alright, here's a few pics, if anyone wants better/more pics, just say so.
The LC is running great with the IIe card, but I sure am aching for that y cable, I might just look into making one. Also, how can I go about using .dsk files from asimov.net on it in the meantime?
The JCPenney radio works great and wakes me up.
The Craig 2106 also works, but the speed is a tad bit off, either making you too fast or too slow.
The Heathkit thing... Well, I dunno what it does. I should take another pic of this, there is something that looks like an RCA plug on the back.
LC in IIe mode. The IIe is wearing another LCs lid while I clean off the original.
