| Lombard/Pismo Slot loading drive |
Posted by: sircabulon on 2008-07-27 21:27:35 Is there any place to get a slot loading bezel for a Lombard/Pismo expansion bay?

Maybe MCE?

Posted by: Bunsen on 2008-07-28 07:00:09 I have the same challenge before me. I'm considering taking the existing bezel and Dremeling a slot in it, or moulding a new one out of something or other.

I'm content to leave mine exposed. But then, rough edges don't bother me much.

Posted by: Bunsen on 2008-07-30 00:27:17 Dust bothers me. I have a cat sitting on my lap as I type. He likes to sniff at the exposed CD drive when it's spinning. This, too, bothers me.

Posted by: Bunsen on 2008-08-03 11:42:51 The drive is in, but the bezel fits not. I believe this, and my habit of two-fisted typing with my Mac on my lap has caused enough case flex to lead to the appearance of said crack.
