| Newton MP 130 not working |

I loved my Newton Message Pad 130 and used it everyday, but one day the batteries died. I didn't get around to replacing them for a couple of weeks, but when I did get around to replacing them, the stupid thing wouldn't turn on! [🙁!] !]'> I tried more than one set of batteries with no luck. Got any ideas?

maybe somehow the battery contacts are corroded and need cleaning, or connections got bent somehow.
i would check them to see there condition. if that don't work then something internal happened to it

Also try testing the internal backup battery (silver disk).
If you had dead AA batteries and were running on backup for a while you may have drained that as well.

ahh yea the pill battery.
i totally forgot the models under the MP 2000 had them.
