| IIGS ROM 01 or ROM 03? |
Posted by: Mike Richardson on 2008-07-26 19:45:42 I have both a ROM 01 and a ROM 03 IIGS. Which one should I use?

I think some suggest using ROM 1 machines for games. IIRC, a ROM 1 machine also allows you to put the SCSI card into slot 1 and configure slot 7 for appletalk. Which was useful for some long forgotton reason.

ROM 3 for GS/OS, ROM 1 for floppy based games.

You might want a bigger RAM card for a ram drive.
