Any interest? The right-too-left angle might help my case though it hurts the possibility of success...

You'd have better luck turning off HWR and just letting it clean up what you draw.
| Posted by: raoulduke on 2015-03-01 21:32:10 The font aspect I know is possible (in theory), though I'd have to track down my research on the font templates.
At the time, this predated my use of emulators, so I had no development environment to pay around. The problem was that NewtonOS can only handle left-to-right recognition and modding that, I would guess, is beyond my abilities.
(I've never played with the Japanese support. But it's still left-to-right. Right?)
| Posted by: raoulduke on 2015-03-06 12:36:04 On that note, does anyone have or know of where to find Fuser or Fissioner? I'm not sure they're necessary at this point, but all the available tutorials seem to be specific to those tools.
[Apple, maybe even before taking down the Older Software List, deleted its own Newton Font Tutorial. Maybe I can wayback it. I know it was there between (roughly) 2008 and 2011.]
