Was with a customer today, when he showed me some old stuff the he had, and told me to take whatever I wanted. Saw an Apple OEMed Maxtor 10GB which I grabbed. No idea if it works yet (i'm guessing not, since its a Maxtor), but still, not bad for free.

I read that as 100GB.
I wouldn't bother with a 10 as I have plenty in larger sizes.
Wonder if it works though. I've had good lifetimes from Maxtor so my guess would be sure but slow.

I need to track one of those 10 GB cheaply... A few more parts and I could have myself a good media PC for the family room!

Just thought i'd say - it works. Haven't run a sector scan on it yet though.
