Weeewt! Just in time for retro challenge, I have aquired an SE/30. Since I'm moving and packing stuff upp, this little guy is just the thing I need to keep me in the game. PLus, it was a steal, at $0.50! Came with asante MacCon SE/30, and I'm putting a 4gb SCSI disc and 32mb ram in it. I also have an apple cd300 with its name on it!

Tell me about it. 7.5 is slow on it tho. 7.1 is Nice and speedy, But I'd more than bet System 6 rocks this machine 😛

Just a quick little followup. I installed System Six, and Maxima, Software from Conectix that lets you use up to 14mb of RAM in system 6, and Hot damn, I had no Idea a Compact Mac could run like THAT. Oh, and I found Moire for it, so no more burn in possibility. Serisouly tho. I was shocked. Its going to stick with system 6. Its funny, because speed wise, at least for most the things I do, it just destroys my P4. email, word processing, IRC. All in one small, cute, speedy, efficient package.
