I am kind of, but partial to the Quake series myself.

I used to play Doom I and II a lot. My G5 doesn't run Doom III without grinding to a halt.

Really? I play it on an iBook G4 haha....I bet that's worse! LOL.

Funny you should mention that, Juan123. lol

While using "Migration Assistant" to bring all of my stuff from the iBookG4 -- which, with a graphics tweak here & there, runs beautifully -- to the MacBook,

I accidently deleted the DOOM 3 demo so I'm redownloading as I type this. lol

I've played all but Doom3. I am more partial to the Quake series, specifically II and 4 due to the storyline which I really like. I have yet to use the GNU/Linux binary with my Quake 4 discs, but I keep forgetting to when I actually have the opportunity. 😛

I do enjoy OpenArena, which is basically an open source Q3A with some changes.

I used to play it alot. I bought the Doom Collectors edition which came with Utimate Doom, Doom2, Final Doom. Few Years later Doom3 and Doom 3 ROE came out.

This games were all played on pc hardware. I play the old school on my mac emulated.
