Dear All,

I only found out about this forum a few days ago.

My first encounter with a Mac was with a Mac Plus.

Then my Mac life started with Macintosh SE.

(1MB of RAM - a "whopping" 1MB, not KB, but MB!

2 FDHD - you mean 1.4MB on this small thing? An you have two of them!

20MB HDD - What is a hard drive? And 20MB! You can NEVER fill this out!)

Then there came II, IIcx, IIci, IIfx, Centris, Quadra, Power Macs with Motorola, Genesis, and Power Macs with Intel.

After Centris/Quadra, I just didn't want to deal with upgrades, tweaking, etc.

I became an "adult", who just had no time for anything, and used Macs as equipments, not as MY MAC's.

I am trying to get back to old Mac hobby - it won't be intensive, given the time (or lack of time) I am alotted. But I can probably get an SE, write diaries and all. And hopefully I can get a decent 68K Mac system to use e-mail, Photoshop, and light video archiving.

I have been browsing the site briefly, and it looks like what I have been looking for. Lots of information, but moreover, lots of emotions and caring (toward Macs, and even between members).

Whoever made the site, and whoever keep the site running, there comes my appreciation. Thank you very much. I like to stay, and be a part of what I have been missing.

Sincerely,
