| CUDA reset? |

I have a LC 475 that recently stopped booting. Will a CUDA reset solve the problem? Mine is the type with the CUDA button.

When you say "stopped booting" do you mean it chimes and then doesn't light up the screen? If this is the case then you'll need to replace the PRAM battery as this has to have a decent amount of charge to start the video. You can also get around this by switching the machine on, off then on again quickly using the switch on the back, which can often "jump start" the video.

No, it presents the flashing floppy and doesn't see the hard drive.

Have you tried booting the machine from another disk? Such as a floppy disk, CD, or even another HDD?

Yes, and it doesn't recognize the hard drive.
