| Portable/eBay: "no idea what that part is ..." |
Posted by: Mac128 on 2008-05-29 08:51:45 I love this: $299 to start, $499 to buy it now. He doesn't know what it is, but it's both RARE & EXPENSIVE! You can buy a whole Portable for less than the staring bid!

t's named CHARLIE PCB FD2 #AP1388-01. This board came with another smaller board that has quick disconnect pins that match each other, no idea what that part is. These are VERY RARE and EXPENSIVE for COLLECTORS ONLY. EDIT 5/31/08
WHO IS THIS GUY!? I know THIS stuff is rare but seriously!?

Take a look at all his items: Clearly he doesn't really want to sell them, so this is his way of keeping his wife off his back LOL

Could it be part of the backlight upgrade that was talked about in another thread? That's my guess...

Could it be part of the backlight upgrade that was talked about in another thread? That's my guess... I agree. It connects to the ROM board which is how the BL upgrade was installed. But I don't really see where the bulb plugs in, maybe the blue and yellow wires? It's not the most detailed picture for $499.
