It has the failed Retr0Brite on it, so I'm going to go ahead and prime it, then give it a light paint of Pantone 453. Should look good as new.
However, before I do that, the top of the case has a pretty bad gash. It was like that when I got it, looks like something metal and heavy was scrapped on it, left a nasty gorge.
Anyway, I want to fill in the gash before I paint. I was thinking of using Bondo. Would that work? I'd then follow it by usin some modeling clay, press it firmly against the textured surface, then press it agains the filler. That way the filled gash will have have the texture of the rest of the case. Hopefully when I'm done painting, it'll be seamless.

| Posted by: Paralel on 2014-09-12 09:56:33 Bondo will def. work on a Mac. I've tried it before. Getting the texture right can be a pain in the ass.
| Posted by: Elfen on 2014-09-12 10:15:18 I hated working with Bondo on a car, let a along on plastic for a computer case!
| Posted by: Paralel on 2014-09-12 11:23:49 Yeah, it is not something I would want to do again, unless it was absolutely necessary.
