Superscript and subscript tags on 68kmla?
Posted by: pee-air on 2008-05-19 20:48:54
Is there any way to get superscript and subscript text on 68kMLA? I notice that the and tags don't appear to work here. Kind of sucks if you want to include footnotes in your posts.

This doesn't actually answer your question, but I assume if anyone truly feels the need to use footnotes in their posts, they're probably better posting on an online support group for anal retentiveness (wikipedia, for example).

Based on: The BBCode Guide for this site, there are no bbcode tags for subscript and superscript.

There's not a simple way to add them in phpBB2... however, I will consider adding them when we make the upgrade to phpBB3 (soon, I promise).

That guide isn't terribly accurate. The img tags don't work here, for example. Which isn't, in my opinion, such a bad thing.

Tom disabled them so that when people wanted to browse here on old machines they aren't totally destroyed.
